YAU MA TEI, HONG KONG — July 27, 2025 — A tragic incident occurred late Friday morning when an elderly woman reportedly fell from a rooftop at 33 Man Ying Street in Yau Ma Tei, fatally crashing onto a van parked below.
Emergency responders received a call at approximately 11:00 a.m. reporting a person suspected of falling from a height. Upon arrival, police officers and ambulance crews discovered the woman lying on top of a van with a severely damaged roof. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Preliminary investigations suggest the woman, believed to be elderly, fell from the rooftop of the building at the stated address. The area was cordoned off as authorities launched a full investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
