Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan Opens New Opportunities for Region 10 Youth

El Salvador City, Misamis Oriental — July 22, 2025

Young farmer leaders from Northern Mindanao now have the chance to level up their skills and knowledge as the Filipino Young Farmers Internship Program in Taiwan (FYFIPT) opens its 2025 call for applicants. Spearheaded by the Agricultural Training Institute-Regional Training Center X (ATI RTC X), the program offers an 11-month training in Taiwan focused on advanced agricultural and fisheries technologies, marketing strategies, and cooperative management.

The FYFIPT is a collaborative initiative between the Agricultural Training Institute (ATI), Manila Economic and Cultural Office (MECO), and the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines. Now on its sixth year, the program continues to empower the next generation of agricultural entrepreneurs through international exposure and hands-on experience.

According to ATI RTC X, the internship is exclusively open to residents of Region 10. Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their requirements to:
