On the goal to give more assistance to the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW), Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA) offers the OFW e-CARD assistance desk in three passenger terminals at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).
The objective of the assistance desk is to give support and information to all concerned OFWs about the benefits of an OFW OWWA eCard, the venture is in cooperation with the Philippine overseas Employment Administration (POEA).
With an OFW e-CARD holder will have direct access to different OWWA programs like social benefits, welfare services, trainings, livelihood programs and scholarships. The OFW e-CARD also serve as a government issued identification card (ID).
With an active OWWA membership, any OFW can apply via the official site of OWWA at https://owwa.gov.ph. Returning OFW may claim the card, family members are also allowed provided to submit a clear copy of the OFW passport and an authorization letter.
The assistance desks are http://owwa.gov.ph also expected to deliver announcements that includes POEA job vacancies, more updated news and new policies for OFWs.
