Senator Bong Go’s Malasakit Team Delivers Aid to Flood Victims in Bulacan, Pasig, Manila, and Pangasinan

MANILA – In the wake of widespread flooding brought by heavy rains and Tropical Storm Crising, Senator Bong Go’s Malasakit Team launched a series of relief operations to assist affected communities in multiple areas across Luzon.

Aid in Calumpit, Bulacan

On Thursday, July 24, around 100 families affected by rising floodwaters in Calumpit, Bulacan received aid from the Malasakit Team in coordination with former Asec. Paul Cabrera. Relief items included food packs, shirts, sports equipment (basketballs and volleyballs), plastic basins, and handheld fans.

Relief Operations in Pasig City

Simultaneously, the team extended assistance to 13 evacuation centers in Pasig City, reaching families in barangays such as Santolan, Manggahan, Rosario, Dela Paz, Sta. Lucia, Maybunga, and Pinagbuhatan.

With support from Councilor Ryan Enriquez, the Pasig Host Lions Club, and District 301 D2 Leo Clubs, over 1,000 families received food items, clothing, hats, fans, and sports gear. A warm meal of lugaw was also served to evacuees. The team also made a courtesy visit to Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto to express solidarity with local efforts.

Emergency Assistance in Tondo, Manila

Flood victims in Tondo, Manila City also received immediate help from Go’s team. The senator emphasized his desire to bring not only practical assistance but also comfort and hope to those facing hardship due to the storm.

Support in Dagupan, Pangasinan

On Friday, July 25, the Malasakit Team traveled north to Dagupan City, Pangasinan, delivering relief packages to 500 families affected by continuous rain and localized flooding. The operation was carried out with the cooperation of Mayor Belen Fernandez and ABC President Councilor Marcelino Fernandez.

Supplies included essential food packs, shirts, basins, fans, and sports equipment aimed at helping families recover and regain a sense of normalcy.


Senator Bong Go continues to reaffirm his commitment to aiding Filipinos in crisis through swift action and community engagement. “Hangga’t kaya ko, tutulong ako. Hindi man solusyon sa lahat ng problema, gusto kong mag-iwan ng kaunting ngiti sa gitna ng pagsubok,” he said in a previous statement.
