Manila, Philippines (8/15/2025)– The newly launched “Sumbong sa Pangulo” website has received more than 1,000 reports from the public just days after going live, according to the Presidential Communications Office (PCO).
Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro said that from August 11 to 13, the platform recorded 1,148 reports, 823 feedback submissions, and a total of 84,892 views.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. officially launched the website on Monday as part of the government’s investigation into alleged irregularities in flood control projects across the country. These projects have been linked to severe flooding in various areas in recent months.
Through the platform, citizens can submit photos and videos showing the condition of flood control structures in their communities, enabling authorities to verify reports and identify possible cases of misuse of public funds.
Officials said the initiative aims to increase transparency, enhance public participation in governance, and ensure that infrastructure projects are carried out properly and benefit the intended communities.
