If you’re one of the many Filipinos aspiring to work in Taiwan—whether as a factory worker, caretaker, or in another field—it’s important to prepare the complete set of documents to ensure a smooth application process. Taiwan offers great opportunities, but incomplete requirements can delay or even cancel your application.

Below is the updated list of mandatory requirements and documents for all applicants bound for Taiwan, as required by Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (DMW/POEA) and Taiwan’s Ministry of Labor.

📋 BASIC REQUIREMENTS

✅ E-Registration (POEA Online Profile)

• Create or update your account at https://onlineservices.dmw.gov.ph/

• Make sure your details, work experience, and uploaded IDs are accurate.

✅ PEOS Certificate (Pre-Employment Orientation Seminar)

• Complete the PEOS Online Module at https://peos.dmw.gov.ph/

• Print your PEOS certificate after finishing all modules.

✅ Valid Passport

• Must be valid for at least two (2) years from the date of application.

• Ensure your passport details match your other documents.

✅ National ID (PhilSys or eGovPH ID)

• A government-issued ID used for identity verification.

• Can also use UMID ID or Voter’s ID if available.

✅ PSA Birth Certificate

• Must be issued by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).

• Avoid blurred or unreadable copies.

✅ Updated Voter’s Certificate

• Obtainable from the COMELEC office or via online request.

• Serves as proof of residency and identity.

🎓 EDUCATIONAL AND EMPLOYMENT DOCUMENTS

✅ Diploma and Transcript of Records

• For factory workers, a high school or vocational diploma is accepted.

• For caregivers or skilled workers, college-level or TESDA certifications may be required.

✅ Certificate of Employment (if applicable)

• For those with relevant work experience.

• Must indicate your job title, duties, and employment period.

✅ TESDA NC II (for Caretakers or Skilled Workers)

• Required for caregiving, welding, electrical, or other specialized jobs.

🩺 MEDICAL AND SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

✅ Medical Examination Certificate

• Must be from a DMW-accredited medical clinic.

• Includes physical exam, X-ray, and laboratory tests.

✅ NBI Clearance

• Must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of issue.

✅ POEA/DMW-Accredited Employment Contract

• Provided by your recruitment agency after selection and employer confirmation.

✅ OEC (Overseas Employment Certificate)

• Issued by DMW as your final clearance to leave the country for work abroad.

✅ Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) Certificate

• Conducted by OWWA or authorized training centers before deployment.

• Police Clearance (Local or Barangay)

• Marriage Certificate (if applicable)
