New Minimum Wage Rates in NCR Take Effect Starting July 18, 2025

Metro Manila, Philippines — Effective today, July 18, 2025, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) officially implements the new minimum wage rates in the National Capital Region (NCR), in accordance with Wage Order No. NCR-26. This wage adjustment is a response to the increasing cost of living and aims to enhance the welfare of Filipino workers.

📌 Updated Daily Minimum Wage Rates:

  • Non-Agriculture Sector: ₱695.00

  • Agriculture Sector: ₱658.00
    (Applies to service/retail establishments with 15 or fewer workers and manufacturing firms with fewer than 10 workers)

This wage hike reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring fair and just compensation, especially for workers in vulnerable sectors.

📝 Employer Reminder:

All employers within NCR are expected to fully comply with the updated wage rates beginning today. Non-compliance may result in penalties in accordance with labor laws.
