August 11, 2025 — Manila — Philippine National Police (PNP) Chief PGen. Nicolas Torre III expressed satisfaction over the latest survey results showing strong public trust and approval for the police force’s performance.
Torre welcomed the positive feedback, highlighting that the public’s growing confidence reflects their appreciation for the PNP’s initiatives, particularly the strict implementation of the five-minute response time for emergencies.
According to the survey findings, the PNP earned a 71% trust rating from the public, while its performance rating reached 73%. These numbers, based on citizens’ responses, indicate a generally favorable perception of the police’s efforts.
The PNP chief assured that the organization will continue striving to enhance public confidence, emphasizing their commitment to delivering reliable service and maintaining the trust of the Filipino people.
