August 25, 2025 – Manila, Philippines – The Department of Health (DOH) has announced the launch of a free Special Nursing Review Program (SNRP) to support nursing graduates who have yet to pass the board exam.
According to the agency, participants of the SNRP will have the opportunity to work as Clinical Care Associates (CCA) while preparing for their licensure exams. This initiative is aimed at strengthening the country’s healthcare workforce and giving underboard nurses valuable clinical experience.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit their applications on or before September 5, 2025. They may apply by visiting the nearest DOH hospital and coordinating with the chief nurse, or by going to the nearest Center for Health Development to connect with training specialists.
The DOH emphasized that the program not only addresses the shortage of healthcare professionals but also provides nursing graduates with enhanced training and review opportunities to increase their chances of passing the board examinations.
