Yunlin County, Taiwan — September 11, 2025 — A traffic collision occurred at approximately 2 p.m. yesterday at the intersection of Provincial Highway No. 1 southbound and Zhongshan Road in Citong Township, Yunlin County.
According to authorities, a truck making a left turn struck a Filipino migrant worker who was riding a motorcycle straight through the intersection. The impact caused the rider to suffer a bone fracture. Emergency responders rushed the injured worker to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Local police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to the accident and to clarify possible liabilities.
