Man Found Dead After Reported Fall Near Taichung Railway Station Commercial Area

Authorities in Taiwan are investigating a fatal incident after a 56-year-old man was found dead outside a lodging establishment near the busy commercial district surrounding Taichung Railway Station early Wednesday morning.

According to reports, a loud noise was suddenly heard outside a travel inn located along Fuxing Road Section 3 in Taichung’s South District. Concerned residents and nearby individuals checked the area and discovered a man lying on the ground unconscious and without signs of life. Emergency services were immediately contacted.

The Taichung City Fire Bureau received the emergency call at around 2:00 a.m. and quickly dispatched rescue personnel to the scene. However, upon arrival, responders confirmed that the man had already died and was no longer transported to a hospital.

Police immediately secured the area and began an investigation. Initial findings suggest that the man may have fallen from a high place. Authorities said there were no immediate signs of external involvement or foul play at the scene.
